Partner with the community and all County services to promote safety, health and well-being for all members of the community and advance Jefferson County's stated values of diversity and inclusion.
Meetings are held on a quarterly basis. Meetings will be two hours in length and sub-committees will be formed as needed.
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Manager
Commission members include 4 citizens-at-large, 4 Jefferson County business owners, 4 Jefferson County service users, 4 IDEA subject matter experts and 3 Jefferson County municipality representatives (1 from each district).
To provide feedback regarding Jefferson County policies, projects and county-wide EDI plans; advise the Jefferson County IDEA team; select action projects for community members; gather community feedback and provide special project feedback to the Board of County Commissioners.
